Pia Wurtzbach’s first dream is to be an actress

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach admits her first dream was to star in a movie, ahead of becoming a Miss Universe winner.

The beauty queen shared with reporters that she found it more difficult to imagine herself starring in a movie than winning Miss Universe. She acknowledged that she didn’t have the same confidence that she could pull off a lead role in a film.

In the romantic comedy “My Perfect You,” Pia is paired with Gerald Anderson. She plays the role of Abi, the overall person in charge of the Happy Sunshine Camp. She meets a broken-hearted guy named Burn (Gerald Anderson). Along the way they develop a friendship and their fondness for each other grows. The film marks the first time Pia and Gerald work with each other.

Prior to “My Perfect You,” Pia’s movie credits include All About Love (2006), All My Life (2004) and Kung Ako na Lang Sana (2003).

“My Perfect You” is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and opens on March 14 in cinemas.
