2NE1 returns to Manila

Korean girl group 2NE1 returns to the Philippines as part of their much-awaited “All or Nothing” World Tour.

The world tour, 2NE1’s second since it debuted in 2009, will kick off on March 1 with a two-night performance at Seoul’s Olympic Park SK Handball Stadium. The group’s show in Manila is scheduled on May 17 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The wildly popular all-girl group includes former ABS-CBN teen star Sandara Park. The Philippines will always be a memorable place for the Korean pop stars not only because of Sandara but also because in 2011, “The Party,” which was among the group’s first concerts, was also held in the country. 2NE1 is also slated to bring its show to Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, China, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The four-member South Korean girl group will be celebrating their fifth anniversary this year. Aside from Dara, the other members are CL, Minzy, and Bom. They first made music headlines in May 2009 with their chart-topping hit song “Fire,” and have since released four hit singles, two EPs, and two studio albums.
