Alden Richards considers Christmas his happiest moment

Young actor Alden Richards still misses his mother who died in 2008, yet Christmas remains one of his happiest moments.

The lead actor of “Carmela,” always make it a point to spend Christmas with the family especially cooking holiday menus  for his loved ones.

Alden, who will turn 21 on Jan. 2, decided to do a lot of charity works as the year ends. Last year he celebrated his Christmas-New Year-birthday charity with some kids in Fairview, Quezon City. This year, he plans to spend the occasion with the elderly.

The Kapuso contract artist is best known for his TV roles in “Alakdana,” Tween Hearts,” and “One True Love” and his breakthrough movie, “The Road.”

Currently he gladly took the challenge to be the leading man of GMA’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. He will be playing the role of Yago Santiago, Carmela’s (Marian) love interest who is younger than her.

“Carmela” is directed by Dominic Zapata of “My Husband’s Lover” fame. The primetime project is slated for Jan. 27, 2014 premiere on GMA Telebabad.
