Amy Perez ends stint with TV5

Actress-TV host Amy Perez has decided to leave her home studio for over three years.

Amy and TV5 have mutually agreed to art ways with the network’s official statement saying that they respect her decision to leave due to personal reasons, and that they wish her well and the best of luck in all her endeavors.

In 2010 Amy left ABS-CBN to gamble on the then new TV5. Her successful hosting stint of “Face to Face” became the most-watched program on its time slot during its heyday.

The 44-year-old TV host said that it was her and her manager’s decision, Boy Abunda, not to renew her contract with the Kapatid network, as she hinted that she might jump to another network soon.

Amy has been one of TV5’s prized talents—hosting six Kapatid shows in the past three years including “Face to Face,” “Untold Stories Mula sa Face to face,” “Juicy!,” “Sapul sa Singko,” and “Ang Latest.” All shows are now all off-air.

Amy will stay with TV5 until October 11 to finish her duties with the morning show “Good Morning Club.”
