Anne Curtis shares blessings to charity

The Department of Education (DepED) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) count actress Anne Curtis as a staunch an ally in addressing public school concerns in the country.

On Tuesday, Anne posted a photo of her flanked by TESDA Sec. Joel Villanueva and DepEd Sec. Bro. Armin Luistro. It was taken during the ribbon cutting ceremony for the turnover of more than 500 wooden armchairs to the San Antonio Elementary School in Quezon City, as part of PNoy Bayanihan Project.

Anne herself donated two classrooms equipped with computer sets and toys, among others. Villanueva added that Apart from the 500 armchairs, other brand sponsors gave away 500 pairs of socks, reusable kiddie bags, tumblers, backpacks and complete school supplies.

They also gave out pizzas and, in an effort to promote eating of vegetables among the kids, the DepED named a tomato stuffed toy after the actress – “Anne Kamatis.”

Recall that in late May, Anne participated in the annual Brigada Eskwela to prepare campuses for the coming school year.
