Filipino vocalist Arnel Pineda of international band “Journey” has announced his foundation was working to extend aid to the victims of the world’s strongest typhoon that wrecked havoc in the southern parts of the Philippines recently.
A CNN report said Pineda and his band mates would donate two million food meals to victims of Supertyphoon “Yolanda” (international name: Haiyan),
Journey also donated $350,000 to help relief efforts in the Philippines. Pineda presented the donation to the United Nations World Food Programme with Journey, Live Nation Entertainment, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and Journey manager John Baruck. The fund will provide 1.4 million meals to the super typhoon victims in Visayas and parts of Mindanao.
Journey is composed of band members Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Jonathan Cain, Deen Castronovo and Arnel Pineda.

Pineda’s message to his countrymen is “Do not Stop Believin,” in reference to the group’s famous “Believin” song.
