‘Goin’ Bulilit’ has a new batch of graduates

Five young talents graduated from the sketch comedy show “Goin’ Bulilit (GB)” upon reaching the maximum age limit of 12 for cast members.

Sharlene San Pedro, Nash Aguas, Mika dela Cruz, Aaliyah Benisano, and Noemi Oineza are considered as alumni of the kiddie show effective Sept. 18

In a live TV interview, the young graduates talked about their most memorable experiences and the lessons they learned while working on the show.

The kids particularly cited the out-of-town shoots for special episodes as one of their most memorable experiences. They also recalled the practical jokes played to them by the staff every Halloween.

As for the most important lessons, the Kapamilya kids mentioned the acting skills they learned and the ability to work harmoniously with kids of their age.

Nash, the first “Star Circle Kid Quest” Grand Kid Questor, said he dreams to be a successful doctor someday. Sharlene for her part, pictures herself as a future movie and TV director. Sharlene is famous for her starring roles in various shows when she was younger as Calla/Lily in “Calla Lily” and as the title role in “Princess Sarah”.

Both aspiring to become ramp models and beauty queens are commercial product endorser Aaliyah and Noemi, who played a ghost in the hit teen horror movie, “Villa Estrella”.  Mika, the Best Child Actress in the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival and the younger sister of actress Angelika dela Cruz, said she wants to hone her acting skill and aspires to be an award-winning actress.

The gag show featuring children in various comedic situations was created by Edgar Mortiz, who co-directs with his son, Frasco Mortiz.
