Jasmine Curtis now more confident outside of her sister’s shadow

Young actress Jasmine Curtis is now two years in show biz and confidently says she has already comes out of her sister’s shadow, actress-TV host Anne Curtis.

The 18-year old actress has by now starred in two drama series on the Kapatid Network TV5. She got her acting debut when she starred with JC de Vera in the TV remake of ’90s hit action film “Ang Utol kong Hoodlum,” which was top billed by Robin Padilla and Vina Morales.

She said she’s happy to have finally settled in TV5, where she was touted as one of TV5’s ‘Primetime Princesses’. She added that the management of the Kapatid Network care about her career as well as her education.

As an endorser of top local brands of apparel and cosmetics, the young actress said she is a bit more spontaneous when it comes to choosing clothes and shoes. She is also now more open trying out new things by following fashion blogs and Hollywood stars like Dakota and Elle Fanning, Taylor Momsen, as well as (British actress) Emma Watson.

She advised ladies who opt for high heels to make sure to get their size. For flats, she prefers cute designs in fun and bright colors. She reminded teenagers to keep their makeup light and fresh during the day. Taking off the makeup at night and moisturizing the face is also a must.
