Jasmine Curtis Smith prefers loveless status

Jasmine Curtis Smith prefers to be single after her breakup with Sam Concepcion. Recall that Jasmine and Sam broke up late last year reportedly due to Sam’s lack of effort to win over her older sister Anne.

The Fil-Australian actress said that she has learned a lot from her previous relationship, which she finds hard to share since they are very personal. On the plus side, she revealed that being loveless allows her to focus on her work. Currently she is enjoying TV5’s new Sunday noontime show “Happy Truck ng Bayan.” As one of the hosts, she got the opportunity to visit various barangays. She has also ventured into theatre in her desire to do a stage play which she thinks will improve her skills as an actress.

Jasmine is also happy to star in the premiere episode “Maria Makiling’,” of “LolaBasyang.com.” The show will be hosted by Boots Anson Roa as Lola Basyang of the new generation. The original “Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang,” is an anthology of short stories written by “Lola Basyang,” the pen name of Severino Reyes, founder and editor of the Tagalog magazine, “Liwayway.” The magazine stories have since been adapted as books, in comics, television, and films.

The pilot episode of “Lola B.Com” will start on July 11, Saturday, at 7 p.m
