Kathryn Bernardo’s debut album now available

Kathryn Bernardo

Teen star Kathryn Bernardo is the newest addition to the growing list of actors that ventured into the singing and recording industry.

The 18-year-old ABS-CBN talent, fondly called “Teen Queen” by fans, described her eponymous album titled “Kathryn,” under Star Music as “sweet, young and happy.” The album contains three revivals, five original songs, and three bonus tracks.

The revival is Sharon Cuneta’s “Mr. DJ,” Cris Villongco’s “Crush ng Bayan,” and Heart Evangelista’s “Love Has Come My Way.”

Among the original tracks are “Na Sa ‘Yo Din Pala,” “Ikaw Na Nga Yata, “K Tnx Bye,” “Temporary Deja Vu,” and album’s carrier single “You Don’t Know Me” composed by singer-songwriter Marion Aunor.

Her screen sweetheart Daniel Padilla is also in her debut album in the bonus tracks that include the version of “Pagdating ng Panahon” and their popular duet performances of “Got to Believe In Magic” and “Pinas Smile.”

Kathryn said she ventured into music to widen her horizon as an artist. Although she had been taking voice lessons with Annie Quintos of The CompanY, Kathryn is well aware of her voice’s limitations. She added that she trusted Star Music with the song choices because they know better what tunes will suit her range.

The album is released online by Star Music via Starmusic.ph and is now available at all record bars nationwide.
