Kris Bernal turns to a guy role for Pinoy remake of Coffee Prince

Coffee Prince became one of the GMA network’s highest-rating Koreanovelas in 2008. Kapuso

Network’s love team Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica attracted Filipino viewers once more as they make

their grand return on primetime TV via the Pinoy adaptation of the hit Koreanovela, Coffee Prince under

the helm of acclaimed actor and TV director Ricky Davao.

Aljur and Kris are both elated on their reunion project on the small screen after having completed the

various programs which hurled their love team including Dyesabel, Luna Mystika, All My Life, Sine Novela

presents Dapat ka bang Mahalin? And the Last Prince.

The young Actress feels very excited to get another opportunity to work with Aljur for this prime time

soap. She guaranteed that the viewers were totally missing the Alkris tandem in GMA network. The said

love team is very excited for this project because this is the first romantic-comedy of the two. She is also

thrilled to play her character who pretends to be a guy. Aljur, on the other hand, couldn’t be any happier

to reignite his onscreen chemistry with Kris.

Today’s biggest names in drama are also part of this prime time soap: Tessie Tomas, Leo Martinez,

Ronnie Henares, Ces Quesada, and Ms Celia Rodriguez .
