Miss Granny earned P7.8 million in the box office on its opening day


“Miss Granny,” the Philippine adaptation of the 2014 hit South Korean film about a grandmother who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old (Sarah Geronimo) after having her picture taken at a mysterious photo studio, opened Wednesday with strong ticket sales, according to producer of Viva Films announced on its social media channels.

The Sarah Geronimo, Xian Lim and James Reid starrer gathered P7.8-million on its first day in cinemas nationwide.

It is directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal and produced by Viva Films.
