Rhian Ramos to co-host ‘taste buddy’

Rhian Ramos is happy to join Solenn Heussaff as host on the lifestyle show “Taste Buddies.”

The 25-year-old actress said she is a huge fan of the show, saying she has been always interested in discovering food. She shared her interest was inspired by her sister who is a culinary arts graduate. Rhian will be taking the place of erstwhile host Iya Villania, who is pregnant with her first baby with Drew Arellano

On working with Solenn, she said she considers her as a pro and wants to learn from her. They have worked together on films “My Valentine Girls” (2011) and “Sosy Problems” (2012); and on the defunct variety show “Sunday All Stars.”

For her part, Solenn believes Rhian is perfect for the show. This is the second time that she will have a new co-host. Her original co-host for the show was Isabelle Daza, who in 2014 moved to ABS-CBN. Isabelle was then replaced by Iya.

“Taste Buddies” features mouth-watering foods, trips to the most happening places and explorations on the different facets of Filipino modern living. It starts airing June 25, 8:45 p.m. on GMA News TV.
