Richard Gutierrez hosts ‘Pinoy Adventures’

The newest GMA-7 travel adventure show called “Pinoy Adventures” premiered on May 13, 8:30 p.m., on GMA-7 Sunday Grande time slot.

Hosted by hunk Richard Gutierrez, the show is a weekly 30-minute program that will search and visit the country’s find unknown places, forgotten relics, taboo ways of life, cultural treasures and even lost traditions.

A known environmentalist himself, Richard said each episode of the show promises a lot of thrilling experiences and exciting journeys which he and the staff will share with the Kapuso viewers.

GMA AVP for Public Affairs Neil Gumban added that “‘Pinoy Adventures’ will allow Filipino viewers to catch sight of rarely seen fantastic places in the country with Richard as their tour guide.

For her part, GMA Program Manager Patty Gutierrez said the goal of the show is to take viewers to places that only a few have seen and tell them stories that only a few have heard. She added that the network has chosen Richard as host because of his sincere appreciation of nature, the beauty of the Philippines and the different cultures he encounters.

Prior to “Pinoy Adventures,” Richard also hosted “Signos,” “Planet Philippines,” “Wildlife for Sale,” “Oras na,” and the last two seasons of the hit reality show “Survivor Philippines.”

“Pinoy Adventures” airs every Sunday after “I-Bilib” on GMA Network’s Sunday Grande.
