Sandara Park survives scary Japan earthquake

Members of the Korean girl group 2NE1 were in Japan to guest on a music show when the devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck last March 11 killing thousands of people especially in the coastal city of Sendai.

Sandara Park along with Park Bom and Minzy are now back in South Korea and narrated their horrifying experience to Korean media.

Sandara, better known as Dara, said they experienced greater shaking since they were in their room on the 34th floor of a hotel in Japan when the destructive earthquake struck. She narrated that they used the stairs in going down from the 34th floor to a safe place as the hotel elevators were not working.

She added that she was worried about the Japanese fans that were waiting them in front of the hotel and for the Japanese people who suffered during the earthquake.

Before joining 2NE1, Sandara debuted as an actress in the Philippines by making good in the Filipino talent survival show, known as Star Circle Quest in ABS-CBN Network. She appeared in Filipino television shows, movies, and commercial spots and even released a song collection which achieved platinum status in sales.

The fans of the famous Korean girl group felt relieved that 2NE1 came back safely in South Korea.
