Sarah-Gerald movie earns P20-M in opening day

Star Cinema Advertising and Promotions Manager Mico del Rosario announced that the film starring Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson earned 20 million pesos nationwide on its opening day on Nov. 30.

Titled “Won’t Last a Day Without You,” the movie marks the second time that the onscreen couple teamed-up together. Their first flick released in March this year, “Catch Me… I’m in Love” reportedly grossed 15 million pesos on its opening day.

Directed by Raz dela Torre, the film’s story revolves around Heidi (Geronimo), who gives love advice to radio listeners, including Andrew (Anderson).

Geronimo expressed gratitude for the support they got during the premiere night on Tuesday. She also dedicated the movie to their fans that have supported all of their projects and movies in the past.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has given the move a general patronage (GP) rating.
