Senatoriable denies paying Coco Martin for political endorsement

Senatorial candidate Edgardo “Sonny” Angara belied that he reportedly paid actor Coco Martin P35 million to endorse his candidacy in the coming May 13 elections.

Angara said Martin has also lent his support for the candidacies of Grace Poe, Richard Gomez in Ormoc, Aga Muhlach in Bicol, and Anton Lagdameo in Davao. Angara added that all candidates also didn’t pay a single centavo to the actor.

Angara was with Martin during his university tour, where he was amazed by the adulations and screams of students for the multi awarded actor. He added that Martin’s success could have stemmed from his humble beginning which challenged him to work harder as an actor.

The senatoriable predicted that Martin will become a big star in the future comparable to the iconic image of the late Fernando Poe Jr.

Martin was also President NoyNoy’s supporter in the 2010 Presidential Elections.
