Two ‘Willing Willie’ dancers meted with suspension

The executive producer of TV5’s primetime variety gameshow “Willing-Willie” has penalized two members of “WW. Girls” dancers who recently figured in a catfight.

Jay Montelibano, the former business unit head of the defunct noontime show “Wowowee,” imposed the penalty of suspension to Aprilyn “Congratulations” Gustilo and Monique “Pak” Natada. The two dancers confronted each other after the show’s Nov. 1 episode over a misunderstanding that was reportedly fueled by work fatigue.

The suspension took effect from Tuesday, Nov. 2, and will last until Saturday, Nov. 6. Montelibano added that the penalty will also serve as a lesson to the rest of the all-female dance group.

A good numbers of the dancers including their choreographer were formerly part of “Wowowee.” They reportedly moved to TV5 to follow Revillame after he resigned from his mother network, ABS-CBN.
