Singer and comedienne Elizabeth Ramsey, who was dubbed the country’s “Queen of Rock and Roll,” passed away during her sleep on Thursday, October 8. She was 83.

The sad news was confirmed by her daughter Jaya via a Facebook post.

Just last August, Elizabeth was rushed to the Philippine Heart Center because of hyperglycemia then she suffered a stroke after.
