Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna now husband and wife

After almost five years of dating, Vic Sotto, 61 weds “Eat Bulaga!” cohost Pauleen Luna, 27, on Saturday evening at St. James the Great Parish in Muntinlupa City. Vic and Pauleen donned creations by designer Francis Libiran. The stunning bride walked down the aisle as Ciara Sotto, the groom’s niece, sang “When I Fall in Love.”

The principal sponsors were “Eat Bulaga!” hosts Sen. Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon and the show’s producer Tony Tuviera. The best man was Vico Sotto, the groom’s son with former noontime cohost Coney Reyes. The maid and matron of honor were Franchesca Que, and cohost Ruby Rodriguez, respectively.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen were Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, actors Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, Paolo Ballesteros and Anjo Yllana, and Vic’s brothers Val and Maru.

The candle sponsors were Miguel Mario, Pauleen’s brother, and Vic’s daughter with Angela Luz, Paulina. The cord and veil sponsors were Vic’s children with Dina Bonnevie, Oyo Boy (with wife Kristine Hermosa), and Danica (with husband Marc Pingris), respectively. Ryzza Mae Dizon was one of the flower girls. The reception was held at the nearby Filinvest Tent.

Vic and Pauleen will honeymoon in the Maldives, and expect to move into their new house in Laguna province after a month. The wedding proved detractors wrong about their relationship, mostly stemming from the couple’s 34-year age gap.
