Wedding bells for Nikki Gil this year

Nikki Gil is set to marry entrepreneur BJ Albert this year, two years after her much-publicized break-up with singer-actor Billy Crawford.

The TV host-singer revealed that she met BJ, who was actually her schoolmate at Ateneo De Manila University, via blind date early 2014. She believes that their meeting, which later developed into a romantic relationship, was all in God’s time.

At this point, Nikki is enjoying the planning in preparation for her nuptials. She shares that her sister Dani and TV-host-actress Iya Villania will be her matrons of honor. She also prefers the wedding to be something of a classic, traditional, and private event.

Nikki wouldn’t say the date of the wedding, but confirmed it would be at the last quarter of the year. Although she and Albert haven’t talked about setup once they tie the knot, she said she won’t leave showbiz after marriage

Meanwhile, Nikki shares her preparation for her new 12-track album under Universal Records titled “Love Revisited,” which consists mostly of happy love songs. The album includes 12 songs including her personal favorite “Loving You” by Ric Segreto, “When I Met You” by The Apo Hiking Society, “Farewell,” originally performed by Raymond Lauchengco and “You Won’t See Me Crying,” by Passage.
